Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world¹. He was crucified, died, and was buried, that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil². For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil³.

As Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly, the Son of man was three days and three nights in the heart of the earth⁴. He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures⁵, and is seated at the right hand of God⁶, making intercession for us⁷. He has gone to prepare a place for us, and will come again, and receive us unto Himself⁸.

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Him⁹. To as many as receive Him, to them gives He power to become the sons of God, to them that believe on His name, who are born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God¹⁰.

Having committed all judgment unto the Son¹¹, God hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness¹² by Jesus Christ.
